I've seen The Rumba Madre in Chicago at one of their venues several times, and this show was terrific. Their music is always superb, and their actions equally so. The only slight problem was that at this show, there were several people in the front couple of rows who thought the show was for and about them. They were finally asked to 'shush' by people around them, but they were definitely an annoyance to those who sat in their vicinity. The Rumba Madre tends to draw everyone into their show with the way they come out into the audience and draw everyone 'in' with their stares and actions. They never cater to a part of the audience that's 'asking for it'.
